Police are appealing for information after a gang of thugs attacked a group of people walking home in Aberdeen, in the early hours of New Year’s Day.
The incident took place at about 6am on Deemount Road, the victims were two men aged 24 and 29, and a woman aged 24.
The group were attacked by a group of five or six people leaving the woman with a broken finger, while the two men sustained minor facial injuries.
Two of the suspects are described as being men aged between 18-24 years old, with local accents. One was wearing a grey tracksuit and the other wore a red tracksuit.
PC Dana McIntosh, who is investigating the incident, said: “These assaults took place in the early hours of New Year’s Day, in a busy residential street and we are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
“The group responsible may have been in and around the area for some time before or after the assault.”
