As a result the Turriff United v Buckie Thistle match scheduled for tomorrow 09/01/2015 has been postponed. The Haughs is almost entirely under water. The rising flood water knocked over wall and gates at the end of the car park during the night. Reports suggest that a collapsing wall damaged the gas meter for the ground and there is currently what is classed as a medium pressure gas leak. Members of the public are currently being kept away from the area, and there is a strong smell of gas around Castle St and the Auld Kirk. Pictures by Mike Rawlins of My Turriff The Haughs, Turriff
