A Porsche and a number of high value items were stolen from a property in the north-east last night.
The property at Panmure Way, Potterton, was targeted yesterday, between 7.40am and 6.20pm.
A black Porsche 911 worth an estimated £50,000 and an orange KTM motorcycle worth an estimated £10,000 were stolen as well as two mountain bikes and personal items.
A property at Edmondside, Pitmedden, was also targeted at around 2pm and a bicycle and personal items were taken.
In addition an orange scrambler motorcycle valued at a low four figure sum of money was stolen from a shed in Turriff between 10.30am and 3.15pm.
Chief Inspector Richard Craig said: “It is disappointing to see that properties have been targeted in Potterton, Pitmedden and Turriff. We are appealing to anyone who may have any knowledge or who has seen anything suspicious to contact police. While the incidents all happened on Monday we are keeping an open mind as to whether they may be linked.
“We would like to reassure the community that we are following up enquiries in relation to these incidents and will make every effort to find those responsible.
“In the meantime we would ask that you take every step you can to prevent yourself from becoming a victim of opportunistic thieves. If you can think about installing an alarm and always make sure that high value goods are left out of sight and that windows and doors are locked.
“We also ask that if you see anything unusual or suspicious in your neighbourhood you contact police on 101.”
