Police appeal after ambulance theft in Aberdeenshire town

Police Scotland is appealing for information following a theft from an ambulance in Stonehaven.
The theft is believed to have occurred between 10:30pm on Wednesday 16 December and 4:30am yesterday (Thursday December 17).
The vehicle was parked at Kincardine Community Hospital in the Kirkton Road area and the stolen equipment has been valued at an estimated mid two figure sum.
Sergeant Neil McHattie, from the Kincardine and Mearns Community Policing Team, said: “This is an unusual crime for the area and we are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area around the time of the theft.
