The collision happened at shortly before 3pm on the city’s Virginia Street at its junction with Commerce Street. One ambulance attended the scene and took the woman, in her 20s, to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. An ambulance service spokesman said: “We got a call at 2.55pm about a three-car road traffic accident. “We conveyed a pregnant woman in her 20s to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for a check-up.” Police warned motorists to expect delays in the area. A police spokeswoman said: “Traffic is building up in the area and we would advise drivers to avoid the area where possible.”
