Chilling out in this city green space is a walk in the park after flood water froze to create a natural ice rink.
The unusual open air Arctic arena formed in Aberdeen as temperatures plummeted following numerous spells of heavy rain.
Several people have been spotted swapping the city’s Linx Ice Arena for a glide over the grass of Aberdeen Links Golf Course – which comes complete with the obstacle of a partially submerged park bench.
They were also spotted in other areas near the university and in Seaton Park.
