This cute seal pup managed to find its way washed up on the beach front, near Bridge of Don. It is believed the creature was only a few weeks old and had been left behind by its mother while she went to search for food. The SSPCA were called to the scene earlier today to assess the pup’s condition. Claire McGillivary, from the charity’s rehoming centre in Drumoak, said the animal looked to have eaten and be in a healthy condition. She said it was hoped the youngster would swim out to sea when the tide came in.
