Police are hunting for a robber who targeted a shop in Mastrick earlier this week.
The thief approached Jolly Stores on Springhill Road on Wednesday at around 5.40pm and made off with around £50.
He is believed to have fled in the direction of Greenfern Road.
Staff at the store were shaken by the incident but there were no injuries as a result.
The suspect is described as being 5ft 5in tall, of slim build. He was wearing a blue hooded top, denim jeans and black trainers.
Detective Constable Graham Welsh said: “The Springhill Road area would have been busy at the time this happened and we are appealing to anyone with information or who saw anything to contact us.”
Anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
