Volunteers are being urged to join in with conservation projects at two well-loved attractions.
The National Trust for Scotland’s Grampian Conservation Volunteer Group are getting ready for the opening of Fyvie Castle and Pitmedden Gardens this spring.
They are urging willing participants to help clear out unruly vegetation at the castle, and prepare the gardens for the upcoming season.
Conservation volunteer coordinator Julie Bond said: “We have a great programme lined up this winter for our Grampian Conservation Volunteers which will take members out to some beautiful places in Scotland.
“If you fancy doing something a bit different this winter and getting out to enjoy the outdoors in good company please get in touch – new members are always welcome.”
Travel, accommodation and meals are organised for volunteers signing up for projects. For more information visit www.nts.org.uk/volunteering/outdoor
