Thieves have stolen two husky sleds from an Aberdeenshire property.
The items, each about 6ft in length, were taken from a premises in the Netherley area, between Stonehaven and Maryculter.
Police say the theft took place between Friday, January 15 and Saturday, January 16.
The sleds are said to be worth more than £1,000.
One features a pale wood timber basket seating section, white plastic handlebars and runners; whilst the other is silver and is fitted with three wheels.
PC Islay Anderson, who is investigating the theft, said: “These are specialised and identifiable pieces of sporting equipment, which were stolen from a domestic property in the Netherley Road area.
“We are keen to speak with anyone who may have been in the area and saw suspicious activity between Friday and Saturday.
