Bridge Of Don Academy closed tomorrow

An Aberdeen secondary school will remain closed tomorrow after engineers were unable to restore heating and hot water today.

Engineers worked throughout the day at Bridge of Don Academy and have identified that the problem is due to a faulty meter.

A replacement meter is being sourced with a view to it being fitted.

The system will then be tested with the aim that the school will reopen as normal on Wednesday.

Exams which were due to be held today and tomorrow will now take place next week.
