Two 20-year-old men charged following serious Stonehaven attack

Two men have been arrested following a serious attack outside an Aberdeenshire takeaway at the weekend.
Three men were assaulted during the incident outside Stonehaven’s Lazio Pizza, with two men aged 30 and 32 seriously hurt.
Police yesterday confirmed that two 20-year-old men have been charged in relation to the Market Square attack following an appeal for information.
The attack took place on Saturday at 3am.
The force had been seeking three men seen getting into a taxi shortly after the incident.

A police spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that two 20-year-old men have been charged in relation to a serious assault that took place in the Market Square area of Stonehaven on Saturday, January 30.”
