The A90 Peterhead to Boddam road has reopened after an earlier collision involving a lorry and a car.
The incident happened just before noon and involved a Nissan Micra and white Renault lorry just south of Peterhead.
The road was closed in both directions while the Scottish Ambulance Service removed a woman from the Micra and transported her to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Police were also in attendance along with two appliances from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, both from the port.
A spokeswoman for the police said that it did not appear as if any “serious” injuries were sustained by those involved.
A spokeswoman for the fire service added: “We have assisted the ambulance service in taking a woman out of her car.”
