A north-east road has been closed tonight due to damage caused by recent poor weather and heavy vehicles working on the AWPR.
Aberdeen City Council has closed the C89c Chapel of Stoneywood in both directions from its junction with the A96 to Forrit Brae section of road.
Temporary repairs will be carried out tomorrow but it is not yet clear when the road will be reopened.
An Aberdeen City Council spokeswoman said: “Temporary repairs will be carried out tomorrow and the section of road will be assessed then for reopening.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to drivers.”
