One of Celtic’s most famous fans showed up in the north-east last night to watch his side take on Aberdeen.
Rod Stewart, who mentions Celtic in his song You’re In My Heart, showed up at the Woodend Bar for a pre-match pint and where he was captured on camera by Shaun McGregor.
His trip was not altogether a happy one though as the night proved a good one for the Dons who came out on top in a 2-1 victory.
Goals from Simon Church and Jonny Hayes put the home side in dreamland before half time, and despite a goal in injury time from Leigh Griffiths they held on for the win, inflicting back to back defeats on the league leaders for the first time in 18 months.
