Scottish Opera will embark on an 18-date tour of Scotland next month with their Opera Highlights show.
Sitting alongside familiar favourites from Verdi’s La Traviata, Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Rossini’s The Barber of Seville and Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Mikado will be lesser-known gems mined from the archives by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Aaron Copland and Ambroise Thomas.
Head of music Derek Clark said: “Even if you don’t know a single tune when you come to see us, I guarantee you’ll be humming at least one of them on the journey home.”
Lossiemouth Town Hall will be first up with a performance scheduled for Tuesday, March 8 at 7.30pm.
Next will be Midmar hall on March 10, and Braemar Victoria Hall on March 12, both at the same time.
