A nurse at a north-east care home will appear before the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) next week accused of assaulting and degrading a resident.
Claris Bartolome allegedly placed a banana near a female resident’s genitals and told her it was ‘there for you if you get lonely through the night’.
She is also accused of throwing jelly babies at the same resident and assaulting her by grabbing and shaking her.
The incidents allegedly took place whilst she was working at Crimond Care Home in Crimond between April 2010 and July 2013
She will appear in front of the NMC on Monday.
