The Church of Scotland’s most senior minister has been carrying out engagements in Aberdeen.
The Rt Rev Dr Angus Morrison, moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, preached a sermon at Holburn West Church on Friday.
During the service, he also presented over 30 long service certificates to elders, Sunday School teachers, choir members and organists.
Between them, they had dedicated around 1,000 years service to the church.
On Saturday, Rev Morrison joined representatives of the city’s Roman Catholic and Episcopalian churches and Lord Provost George Adam at a lunch hosted by Aberdeen Presbytery.
Yesterday he preached at King’s College Chapel to mark Aberdeen University’s Founder’s Day Service.
