Mountain bikes worth thousands of pounds stolen from Aberdeenshire shop

Police Scotland is appealing for information following the theft of two mountain bikes from a commercial premises in Banchory.
The thefts are believed to have happened between 1pm and 2pm on Tuesday  February 2 in the Arbeadie Terrace area.
As a result, two mountain bikes were stolen, with an estimated total value of a high four figure sum.
The first Cube Stero bike is described as having a black and blue frame, with white writing.
It has stickers on each of the tyres and is fitted with a distinctive set of rotor disc brakes and a garment mount.
The second Cube Stero bike is described as being green, with a sticker of Kermit on the frame, saying “Monday Muppets”.
PC Russell Masson, who is investigating the thefts, said: “These distinctive bikes were stolen during the afternoon and we are appealing for anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area to come forward.
