Man caught smuggling thousands of pounds worth of heroin to Shetland via Aberdeen

Police in Shetland attended Lerwick Ferry Terminal yesterday (Tuesday 9th February 2016) where a 33 year-old man was detained and arrested after disembarking the Northlink Ferry from Aberdeen.
The man was searched and found in possession of suspected heroin with a street value of approximately £15,000.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
