The north-east’s children’s hospital has received a glowing report from inspectors.
Healthcare Improvement Scotland paid the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital (RACH) an unannounced visit in December and has now published the results.
The report, released yesterday, found there were no areas which required improvement, and just one area of recommendation.
Inspectors highlighted “significant improvements” when compared with their previous visit three-years-ago.
Among the areas which received special praise were the cleanliness and the relationship between staff and parents and children.
Last night, hospital bosses welcomed the positive report and said it could not have been achieved without the “real team effort” from everyone involved at the facility.
