Police Scotland is appealing for information following a spate of housebreakings in Banchory.
The incidents are thought to have happened between 8:30pm on Tuesday  February 9 and 6am on Wednesday February 10.
As a result, an orange and white KTM 350 motorbike was stolen from Kirkton Body Repairs, in the North Deeside Road area. It has an estimated value of a high four figure sum. There was a further attempted break-in nearby and the damage caused in these incidents has been valued at a low four figure sum.
Officers are also investigating thefts in the Silverbank Gardens area. Four garages were broken into and power tools were stolen, with an estimated value of a high three figure sum. A low three figure sum of cash was stolen from a car in the area.
PC Russell Masson, who is investigating the thefts, said: “These incidents happened in close proximity and we are appealing for anyone who was in the area or has information to come forward. We would also ask local residents to ensure their garages and outbuildings are secure at all times and contact Police Scotland if you have any concerns.”
