The incident took place in Market Square on Sunday. A 20-year-old man was assaulted and sustained a facial injury. Meanwhile, police have launched an inquiry after a bus was vandalised in Oldmeldrum. The incident took place in the Coutens Park area of the village, at some time between 4.30pm on January 19, and 7am the following morning.
