A man was taken to hospital in the early hours of this morning after he was found bleeding in the city centre. Police and ambulance crews were called to the Skene Street area shortly after 2am after passers by reported seeing an injured man. It is understood that the man, believed to be in his 40s, was not wearing trousers. He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment for non-life threatening injuries, which are understood to have been self-inflicted. A police spokeswoman said: “Police were made aware of concern for a male in the Skene Street area at around 2am today. “He was taken to hospital and has been treated by medical staff.”
