A man has appeared in court this afternoon accused of murdering a young mum who was found dead at an Aberdeen flat.
Bala Chinda appeared in private at the city’s sheriff court and made no plea to the charge against him.
The 25-year-old, who was charged in connection with the incident early yesterday, was remanded in custody and will appear again in court next week. He was also charged with theft.
Thirty-six-year-old Jessica McGraa, was discovered at the rented flat on Union Terrace on Friday.
Following the discovery police said they believed Ms McGraa, who is thought to be a mum from London, was working as a prostitute in the city.
