A man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in the Dyce area of Aberdeen yesterday.
The crash took place at about 6.15am and involved a blue and black Kymco scooter and a white VW Scirocco.
The vehicles collided on Argyll Road close to its junction with Dyce Drive.
The 45-year-old scooter driver was subsequently taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he is being treated for serious injuries. The male driver of the VW was uninjured.
Constable Andrew Bradnock, who is leading the investigation, said: “We are looking to establish the circumstances of the collision and are asking for help from the public. Although early, there were some motorists in the area at the time with commuters driving into work and those travelling to the airport for morning flights.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
