A wintry blast is making its way across north Scotland, promoting a Met Office weather warning.
Icy stretches are expected to form on untreated roads and pavements during Wednesday night and Thursday morning, especially where wintry showers fall. In addition, slight snowfalls of 1-2 cm are possible on some routes, especially over inland parts.
Please be aware of the risk of some difficult driving conditions, and some low level travel disruption.
Road and pavement temperatures will fall below freezing on Wednesday night.
Wintry showers will affect parts of Northern Ireland, western and northern Scotland leading to a risk of ice.
