Police desperately tried to resuscitate the 62-year-old, who took ill on Caroline Place, Aberdeen, at about 8.15pm, but he could not be revived. Officers were seen giving CPR, and ambulance was also called. The road was cordoned off between the junction of Hutcheon Street and Rosemount Terrace. A police spokesman said: “The driver of the vehicle had taken ill within his vehicle and subsequently died.” There are no suspicious circumstances, the spokesman added.
