Storm Jake has hit the UK, bringing snow and travel problems to large parts of Scotland.
The storm has brought 77mph winds, snowfall and difficult driving conditions but it has also helped produce some of the cutest pictures we’ve seen for a while!
Our photographer Colin Rennie was out in snowy Aberdeenshire this afternoon and captured some adorable images of the local animals in the snow.
Temperatures plummeted to minus 2C (28.4F) in parts of Scotland today and while the Highland cows, horses and sheep seem to be enjoying the white stuff, forecasters have warned there is more to come.
The Met Office has issued yellow “be aware” warnings for snow and ice for much of northern Scotland, with up to 5cm of snow expected in many places, rising to 10cm on higher ground.
