Police are hunting two men following an attempted robbery in Aberdeen on Thursday afternoon.
The incident took place at the Post Office on Summerhill Drive around 2.10pm where a member of staff was threatened.
The culprits made off empty-handed and no one was injured.
Detective Inspector Stewart Drummond said: “We are appealing for information from anyone who was in the Summerhill area yesterday afternoon who saw anything suspicious.
“Enquiries are at an early stage, but we believe there were two suspects, who left the scene on a red motorbike.
“If anyone saw two individuals on a red motorbike in the Summerhill area, prior to the incident, or elsewhere in the city after it, I would ask them to contact us with any information they may have.”
