Video footage showing a reckless motorcyclist driving at 115mph on a busy north-east road has been released by police.
Biker Scott Edwards, 27, was jailed for six months on Friday after driving dangerously on the A90 between Aberdeen and Balmedie on October 21.
Officers followed as Edwards raced along the busy route at speeds of between 100 and 115mph.
The biker then turned into Balmedie, ignoring police signals to stop and rashly accelerated through a red light at a section of roadworks before overtaking several vehicles on a blind bend.
Moments later, Edwards crashed into a car travelling in the opposite direction, fracturing his wrist. The driver of the car suffered whiplash.
Edwards pled guilty and was jailed for six months and banned from driving for 32 months.
