An ambulance driver has been charged with careless driving while she was responding to a 999 call.
Kristine Hutchison is accused of causing a crash by driving without due care and attention in Aberdeen on October 6 last year.
The 46-year-old is alleged to have gone through a red light at the junction of Beechgrove Terrace and Rosemount Place, Aberdeen, without stopping.
It is further alleged she failed to react when she saw a blue Volkswagon Polo and collided with the car, injuring driver Niamh Maloney.
Hutchison, of 1 Macdonald Road, Stonehaven, denied the charge when the case called at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday. She will go on trial next month.
