Police Scotland is appealing for information after two females were assaulted by a man in the Hardgate and Fonthill areas of Aberdeen.
The separate incidents happened during the early hours of Sunday March, 13, 2016, at around 0250 hours as the females walked home from the city centre. Neither victim was injured.
Police believe the same male is responsible for both incidents.
Detective Sergeant Mike Reynolds, who is leading the investigation, said: “We have conducted a number of enquiries, including viewing a significant number of hours of CCTV footage from the city centre and surrounding areas.
“As a result, I believe the same male may be responsible for both incidents. He is dressed in a black coloured-puffa style jacket, black lower clothing and footwear, and was wearing a black beanie hat. He is aged between 20 and 30 years, is of a slim build and is approximately 5ft 10 tall.
“I am particularly interested in speaking to anyone who was in the area of Langstane Place, Hardgate or Fonthill Avenue between the hours of 0200 and 0340 hours on the morning of Sunday, March 13, who believes they may have seen this male or anything suspicious between these times.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.
