Fire at Cornhill Court

More than twenty firefighters were called to an incident at a flat in Cornhill Court, Aberdeen this afternoon.

Two firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose jet to tackle a small fire in a kitchen on the ninth floor just after 4.30pm.

One occupier was also let to safety.

Ambulances attended the scene as a precaution but were not required.

Two fire appliances remained on scene while the property ventilated, but left at 6.15pm.
