Two charged after Fraserburgh bullying video goes viral

Two teenage girls have been charged after video allegedly showing an attack on two boys in Fraserburgh surfaced online.

The video, posted onto Facebook by a concerned local, shows a gang of young girls apparently joking and cheering as a ringleader attacked two teenage boys.

The alleged attack is understood to have happened on Tuesday afternoon in Charlotte Street, Fraserburgh.

Constable Jaime Taggart of Banff and Buchan East Community Policing Team said: “Police Scotland was made aware of a disturbance in the Fraserburgh area on Saturday, March 12, 2016.

“Two females, aged 15 and 16, have been charged and will be reported to the relevant authority.

“Police would like to thank the public for their assistance with this inquiry.”
