Emergency services were alerted to the incident, which happened on airfield close to the runway at 7.30am. The male employee involved was a ground handler. How his vehicle came to hit him remains a mystery but he was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with leg injuries. An Aberdeen International Airport spokesman confirm there had been an “accident involving a ground handling agent” The spokesperson added: “We are making investigations and looking into the cause. “This had no impact on operations at the airport.” A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We were alerted to the incident at 7.30am where a man was taken to ARI.
