Aberdeen Airport has launched an investigation after a ground handler had to be taken to hospital yesterday after being run over by his own vehicle.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the airfield near the runway at 7.30am and the man in question was transported to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
His injuries are not believed to be serious.
A spokesman for the airport confirmed that an investigation had been launched.
He said: “We can confirm there was an incident earlier today involving a ground handling agent who was taken to hospital as a precaution.
“We will work with the ground handling company to investigate the matter.”
He added: “There was no impact on operations.”
