The teenager who stabbed Bailey Gwynne at Cults Academy last year is due to be sentenced today.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named, denied murder but was found guilty of culpable homicide last month.
He will be sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh by Lady Stacey with the hearing starting at 9.30am.
An independent review has been launched into the circumstances of Bailey’s death and is expected to be published later this year.
It emerged after the trial that concerns were raised about the 16-year-old as he left a boy requiring medical attention when he threw rocks at him when he was at primary school.
