The Aberdeen flat where a prostitute was allegedly murdered has gone on the market with a price tag of almost £260,000.
Jessica McGraa’s lifeless body was discovered in a serviced apartment on the city’s Union Terrace on February 12.
A post-mortem examination showed the mum, who had been working in the city, was suffocated. Her death certificate listed her only cause of death as asphyxiation.
Bala Chinda, 25, has since been charged with her murder and is expected to appear in court again later this year.
Last night it emerged the property she was killed in, Flat B, 16 Union Terrace, has now been put up for sale for offers over £259,000.
Property particulars show the inside of the “well presented” three bedroom flat Mrs McGraa had been working from just days before she died.
The apartment is part of a category B-listed granite building and contains many features traditional with Aberdeen properties such as high ceilings, plaster cornices and ornate interior pillars.
The flat, which was valued at around £265,000, has a “bright and spacious” open plan lounge and kitchen with a large bay window overlooking the front of the property and Union Terrace Gardens.
Two bedrooms, facing the front of the property, are connected using specialised sliding doors with a further master bedroom located at the back of the building.
Mrs McGraa’s body was found two days after she last logged into her Adult Work profile which she used to generate business for herself in the Granite City.
It is understood Mrs McGraa married her husband Gareth, an oil worker, after they met while he was working in Nigeria.
The pair then moved over to the UK to start their married lives together. The couple also spent some time living and working in Aberdeen before they split up.
Following her death, Mr McGraa said he had no idea his estranged wife was working as a sex worker who was selling herself for around £220 an hour.
It is understood the escort often used the name Bianca and advertised herself as the “ultimate girlfriend experience” on her online profile. The mother’s social media sites showed the lavish lifestyle she lived, jetting off around the world on holiday on a regular basis.
