Marks and Spencer, Costa and Home Bargain could all be established at the site after plans were submitted by the owners Standard Life Investments. Muriel Jaffrey, who represents the Bridge of Don ward, said there was a need for renovation. She added: “People would love a Marks & Spencer in Bridge of Don. The whole area would be supportive of this in my opinion. “There is certainly a need for the retail park to be renovated. “It would benefit from passing trade if it was fully occupied. “I know people in Fraserburgh, Peterhead, and Tarves, for example, who currently travel to the Bridge of Don to shop.”
