Police Scotland have arrested and charged a man in connection with the investigation into the death of Shahzad Shah yesterday at an Aberdeenshire takeaway.
Emergency services were called to Mirchi Indian Takeaway in Mintlaw yesterday evening after Mr Shah, 56, collapsed following a disturbance.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The scene of yesterday’s fatal disturbance at the takeaway lies only yards from Central Buchan’s police headquarters.
The 52-year-old male will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court tomorrow, Wednesday, 13 April.
