Work is due to begin on a long-awaited supermarket for a north-east town.
Aldi has been given permission to build a store on land at Kirk Street, Peterhead, eight years after it first proposed the development.
A former textile factory has already been demolished to make way for the shop, and now the German firm has permission to demolish a three-storey block of flats to make way for the building.
The 19,000 sq ft scheme includes two separate retail units and parking spaces for nearly 150 cars.
It is expected the shop will create 30 new jobs and bring £2.5 million to the local economy.
