Police are on the hunt for two armed robbers who raided a house in Aberdeen last night.
Two men wearing dark clothing brandished a weapon and fled with cash from a home in Marchburn Drive, at 11pm.
Police say no one was injured in the incident.
The men were last seen running through the Westerton Place area, before heading towards Granitehill Road.
Officers leading the investigation say they are following positive lines of inquiry.
Detective Inspector Stewart Drummond said: “I would appeal for anyone who saw these two men in the area around the time in question to contact police as a matter of urgency. Any information could be crucial to helping us establish their whereabouts.
“I would like to reassure the community that this appears to be an isolated incident, and that police are following several positive lines of inquiry.”
