Police investigate after man found dead at Aberdeen flats

Police are investigating the unexplained death of a man found at a high-rise in Aberdeen last night.

Emergency services were called to Beechwood Court near the city’s North Anderson Drive at 7.40 pm last night.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We believe the man who died was in his 50s.

“It’s not being treated as suspicious but it is being classed as an unexplained death.

“Inquiries are ongoing in relation to the incident.”

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We can confirm we were called to the incident at Beechwood Court but we can’t give out any further details.”
