Police in Aberdeen are investigating after a young woman was found dead in a student flat.
The body of a 21-year-old womane was found at the Unite Student’s Old Fire Station flats on King Street on Sunday afternoon.
Officers are currently carrying out inquiries, however at this early stage it does not appear there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A police spokeswoman said: ““Police are carrying out inquiries following the sudden death of a 21-year-old woman at the Old Fire Station student accommodation on King Street at around 3.45pm on Sunday.
“The death is being treated as unexplained.
“Inquiries are ongoing and as standard a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
“Early inquiries would indicate no apparent suspicious circumstances.”
