A man has been airlifted to hospital following a three-lorry crash on the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road.
The crash took place at about 12.50pm near Arbuthnott and police, fire and ambulance services are at the scene.
Police had initially said the crash had been between two lorries but have now confirmed three HGVs are involved.
An air ambulance, local paramedics, and a trauma team from Ninewells Hospital in Dundee are all at the scene.
A spokesman for the ambulance service confirmed two people have been injured.
One person has been taken by air ambulance to Ninewells where he is being treated for non life-threatening injuries, while another is believed to have been taken to Aberden Royal Infirmary for minor injuries.
The southbound carriageway of the road had been closed for several hours but one lane has now been reopened.
