A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with two incidents of sheep worrying at a north-east farm.
Twelve lambs were killed and others injured during the alleged attacks at Holmhead Farm in Bucksburn on April 14 and 15.
Another incident at the farm on April 6 in which two lambs were killed and several others injured was also reported to police. Officers are following a positive line of enquiry in relation to this case.
PC Lesley Fraser said: “I would like to thank the public and media for their assistance with these inquiries.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to remind dog owners that they have a duty to keep their pets under control and on a lead around livestock at all times.
“My advice to anyone walking and exercising their dogs in the countryside is to ensure that they are under control at all times and to avoid going into fields where livestock is grazing. It is also your responsibility to keep an eye on your animals, and make sure you know where they are.”
