Driver accused of “dangerous” overtaking on North Deeside Road

Police are appealing for help to track an Audi driver spotted doing “dangerous” overtakes on a rural Aberdeenshire road.
The silver Audi was spotted on the A93 North Deeside Road between Crathes Castle and Banchory on Saturday between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.
Witnesses say the driver was “overtaking a number of cars in a dangerous manner” on the section of road, as it headed west towards Banchory.
A police spokeswoman said: “Officers in South Aberdeenshire are appealing for witnesses to an incident of dangerous driving on the North Deeside Road by Banchory that has been reported to police.
“Anyone who witnessed the vehicle or who has information about this incident is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.”
