Police are investigating after a serious assault in the Kincorth area of Aberdeen over the weekend.
The incident took place at about 10.30pm on Saturday, when a 31-year-old man was assaulted, resulting in him sustaining serious facial injuries including a broken jaw.
Police believe that one man was responsible for the incident and that person may have left the area in a dark coloured car.
Constable Dana McIntosh, who is leading the inquiry, said: “This incident took place in a busy residential street and as a result a man sustained serious injuries.
“The male responsible may have been in and around the area for some time before, or after the assault.”
