Were you caught up in Aberdeen traffic today? This picture could explain the delays

A car engine is believed to have caught fire on a busy Aberdeen street this evening.

Fire and police crews were called to North Anderson Drive around 6.30pm, causing delays to drivers heading towards the Haudagain Roundabout.

Police redirected traffic while fire crews dealt with the vehicle.

The vehicle has now been moved and traffic is moving freely again.
